Calendar Tetris Challenge

Official rules.

Teach ANCI your hardest scheduling days. These rules cover who can take part, how scenarios are accepted, and the rewards. No purchase necessary.

1. Sponsor

The Calendar Tetris Challenge (the "Challenge") is run by Calndr Inc. (ANCI AI), 380 Hamilton Ave #373, Palo Alto, CA 94302 ("Calndr", "we").

2. Who can take part

  • Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, aged 18 or older.
  • Currently employed as an executive assistant, administrative assistant or secretary.
  • Not an employee or contractor of Calndr Inc., or a member of their household.

No purchase is necessary, and you do not need to use ANCI on your own calendar to take part.

3. When

The Challenge opens on Thursday, October 29, 2026 and closes on Sunday, December 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Submissions received after that are not considered.

4. How to take part

  • Sign up on anciai.com with your name and work email, and confirm your email.
  • Submit scheduling scenarios: type one into the form, or run it live with ANCI and submit the result. You can submit up to 5 scenarios in total.
  • Each scenario must be a real situation you have handled. Change the names of people and companies, and leave out anything confidential.
  • Using an AI tool to tidy up your wording is fine. Invented situations are not eligible.

5. Scenario rewards

  • If any one of your scenarios is accepted, you receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card after a short call. There is one reward per person: at most one of your scenarios is accepted for a reward, however many you submit.
  • A scenario is accepted only when it meets all of these:
    • it is a real situation you have handled, with names changed;
    • it is out of the ordinary. ANCI already handles everyday scheduling, such as finding a time, booking, moving or cancelling a meeting, inviting a guest from outside the company, or working across two time zones, so routine requests like these are not accepted;
    • it involves at least two complications, such as several people, different time zones, a meeting that cannot move, travel, or another person's assistant;
    • it says clearly what a great executive assistant would do;
    • it is not already covered by ANCI's tests or by another submission.
    We decide, and tell you why, usually within 7 days.
  • The call. When a scenario is accepted, we invite you to a 20-minute phone or video call to hear more about that situation. We email the gift card within 7 days after the call. If the call can't take place within 30 days of our invitation for reasons on your side, the reward lapses.
  • Some employers don't allow staff to accept gifts from companies. Checking that you may accept the gift card is your responsibility.
  • Rewards are limited and available while the Challenge runs. We may end the scenario rewards early; scenarios accepted before then still count.
  • If you submitted scenarios before these rules took effect, you keep the earlier terms (a $25 gift card when three of your scenarios are accepted) if you prefer them.

6. Grand prize

One grand prize: a $250 Amazon.com gift card and 3 months of ANCI, for the best scenario submitted during the Challenge. The Calndr team chooses it for how real, how hard and how creative it is. The winner is announced on Monday, December 21, 2026 and the gift card is emailed the same day. Approximate retail value: $2,635 ($250 gift card plus 3 months of ANCI at $795 a month).

7. Verification

Before we send any reward, we confirm that you are eligible: a confirmed work email, a LinkedIn profile showing a current eligible role, and, for scenario rewards, the call described in section 5. If we cannot confirm eligibility, the reward goes to the next eligible person.

8. Using your scenarios

You give Calndr a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your scenarios to build, test and improve ANCI. If you opt in, we may also show a scenario on our Hall of Fame as your first name, title and type of company (for example, "Priya, EA at a fintech"). Your company email and LinkedIn profile are never published. See our Privacy policy.

9. Gift cards

Amazon is not a sponsor of this Challenge. Amazon.com gift cards are subject to Amazon's own terms. Rewards cannot be transferred, and there is no cash alternative unless we offer one. Any taxes on a reward are the recipient's responsibility.

10. General

  • Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
  • We may disqualify anyone who uses more than one identity, submits invented or mass-generated scenarios, or otherwise breaks these rules.
  • These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California.
